Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the role of sport activities in the development of the social, moral and patriotic values from Yarmouk University student's perspective.

The researchers in this study used the expressive descriptive approach and applied a survey that consisted of fifty-seven items divided into the following (3) domains : social values, ethical values, and national values.

The study sample included (650) Yarmouk University male and female students who were randomly selected.

Study results showed that sport activities practice have a positive effect on development ethical, social, and national values on university students.

The effect was higher on male students compared to the female students.

The study recommended the importance of hosting public figures to reinforce the values of university students with the importance of sport.
