Abstract EN

Banks are generally indispensable institutions that a country or society cannot afford.

but the banks operations that depend on lending and interest-bearing practices that run counter to the fundamental principles of Islamic law, which create serious problems for a Muslims committed to Shari'a laws.

it is truly regrettable that, in addition to the existence of a significant number of banks committed to Islamic law, many people continue to deplore the operations of conventional and illegal banks, and some inquire about Shari'a governance in dealing with the operations of these banks, which encouraged me to present this modest research entitled (deposit of money in Riba-based banks a thorough study).

i divided this research into: a preface, four investigations and a conclusion.

the preface is devoted to the motivation to write the research and its plan.

the first section is devoted to the definition of the most important terms contained in the research paper (deposit, cash, bank).

the second section is devoted to the establishment of Riba-based banks and their main function.

the third topic is devoted to explaining the concept of bank deposit and adapting it in terms of jurisprudence and law.

the fourth and final topic is devoted to the legality of deposit in Riba-based banks whether in current or non-current accounts, as well as to indicate the motives of deposit, and the fate of the interest obtained from the deposit.

the conclusion is the most important findings of the research.
