Friedrich Nietzsche has a major standing in the philosophy of post-modernism for it had a negative attitude towards the achievements of Modernism.

Nietzsche was the first one who paved the way to this by refusing and breaking all the values that were attributed to modernism such as: Depth, Essence, Steadiness, End, and the Origin …Therefore he was classified among the Nihilist philosophers.

Nihilism had a remarkable echo and noticeable presence with post-modernist philosophers like: Jean François Lyotard, Jilles Deleuze, and Michel Foucault.

Through theseexamples that made up the well-known French philosophers, we can resume that Nietzsche is a main reference of the French philosophy in particular and post-modern philosophy in general.
