The questions of heritage and cultural identity are still being held accountable because of the thorny issues they raise within the Arab cultural discourse system in general and the Algerian in particular.

If we are to discuss questions of this complexity, this should be done in the context of a modern reading of the concepts of heritage and cultural identity, The position of these two factors within the dialectic of representation and transcendence, dependence and liberation, and bilateral self and the other, how do we read the heritage, and its active role in the formulation of the discourse of cultural identity in Algeria from the entrance of this bilateral? This intervention means opening up horizons for discussion in the approach of heritage, and what we refer to from the cultural patterns that establish the idea of identity of the self in exchange for a conceptual space that stands between the interlocking, and the meaning, so what is meant by heritage?, and what dimension takes in the context of the relationship to cultural identity? The Algerian experience in this context?
