English Abstract

It is certain that hunting will contribute to the development of countries and thus will recieve attention at the social, cultural, sports and economic levels.

Hunting is an important social act and it has a sporting and recreational character.

However, in the way it is practiced, it touches the balance of hunting.

Hunting, which is an artificial cutback of natural resources, may compromise ecological balance when it practices in random format.

This is indeed the case in Algeria and in the other countries where irresponsible acts have eliminated many species of hunting.

In 2004, the Algerian legislator enacted a law on hunting aimed at framing the hunting process in order to protect this national wealth and include it in sustainable development.
