The expedition literature is the literature in which the writer depicts what happened to him and what he came across to during his trip in certain countries.

this literature is one of the most important historical and social records of geography, and the information that has been included in this type of works is the cultural relations that had been established different reigns of the Islamic world, Mashreq and Maghreb.

And one of the most famous trips that had been recorde dis « Al Qalasadi journey », this trip, which lasted fifteen years, during which the traveler participated seriously and effectively in all and active in all seminars of the scientific frequented by resident and in travel, even he mentioned that thirty- tree experienced old men instructed him in the Andalous , Tlemcen, Tunis, Egypt, and Al Hijaz in order to confirm its historic importance, we chose the theme « trip of Ai-Qalasadi » and its role in recording the history of the cultural relations between the middle Maghreb and Andalous, and to highlight the scientific status of the Middle Maghreb scholars internally externally.

The study revealed the importance of the Middle Maghreb region in the scientific and intellectual field during the 9th Hijri century.

It was a center for the exploitation, collection, teaching and even authorship of the Andalusian scholars.

This confirms the existence of intellectual communication between the two fields.
