Abstract EN

The study aims basically at describing the agricultural modernization levels in the study area.

Zawet E Lkaradsa village was chosen to conduct the study on it, it has 2370 landowners according data obtained from centre of information and decision making support in agricultural directorate Fayoum governorate.

10% random samples was chosen (237land owners) and the samples was increased by 3 respondents as a backup.

Data was collected by interview the landowners guided by questionnaire.

Pearson's correlation coefficient, Step wise multiple regression, in addition to percentages, and Frequency distribution tables were used to amalgse date.

Pearson's correlation coefficient clarified asignificant correlation between the total agricultural modernization degree and each of: educational level, affiliation of community, leadership, level of ambition, cultural openness, political participation, and machines ownership.

Also there is a Negative relationship of significant correlation at the Probability level 0.05 between the total agricultural modernization of dgree and the age variable.

Findings showed that three independents variables explain about 26.2 % of dissimilarity on the total agricultural modernization and these variables were: affiliation of community, leadership, and level of ambition and about 73.8% of dissimilarity on the total agricultural modernization was back to other variable not covered by the study.
