Abstract EN

Our attempt Within this paper, is to shed the light on one of the main and prominent scholars of Tlemcen Zayani, who sets one of the scientific houses there, he was the first man in the family of Sharif Tlemcen, which imposed itself among other well-known families in Telemcen and the west at whole, due to its sons which were scientists and scholars.

Though our scholar was contemporaneous with the greatest scholars of his time, who had combined both scientific efforts and political activity such as Abdul Rahman Ibn Khaldun and Lissan din Ibn Alkhatib and others, his scientific status remained strong at the temporal authorities in the Islamic Maghreb, so they competed to won him and benefits from his knowledge, as well as trying to employ him in political embassies , because of his honor, scientific status, dignity and decency and not because he was a man of politics.
