Abstract EN

Political development, it is a political phenomena that has not reached to democracy in its origin and the depth of its history.

But it has been associated with it in contemporary political and social studies since the fifties of the last century due to having same variables or most of them and because their leading is one and both of them represent a prominent feature of advanced societies.

So the matter of controversy of the democracy, it is theoretically an intellectual product and a cognitive effect of the efforts of contemporary epistemologists.

And it is practically a political ideological project which was developed to serve the purposes and interests of the West countries in what they call it as developing countries.

As a result, the study of the two terms (Democracy and the Political Development) in Iraq confirms the inevitability of liberation from all types of occupation and subjection to other countries.

And also the inevitability of establishing institutions and finding effective means to reduce the personal selfishness of the dominant political forces, which led the political experiment in Iraq to a false process that does not hope for good and reform.
