This paper has dealt with the phenomenon of “ellipses” which has big importance in the rhetoric studies due to its accuracy, its beauty and its amazing effects is to raise the listener’s senses and awakening his feelings.

Thus, the words fall stronger surer in meaning.

This research deals with three positions of ellipses, praised by Abdul Qahir Jurjani in “the signs of miracles” starting with the purposes of ellipses of the assignee, then the purposes of ellipses of the predicate and then the purposes of ellipses of the object.

Samples of each purpose have been analyzed in the Office of visual enthusiasm as there has been an attempt to highlight its rhetoric significance and stand on the beauty positions in each of the places of ellipses.
