Kaïd Ahmed is considered to be one of the most important Algerian political and nationalist figure, He grew up in a small family that encouraged him to pursue his studies until he successfully obtained his baccalaureate certificate.

The aforementioned achievement made his town proud of him, Kaïd Ahmed firmly believed in the victory of the Algerian revolution .

He is very dedicated to his work.

He put so much emphasis on the importance of the cultural and social awareness among the young Algerian.

In other words, Kaïd Ahmed was well aware of the dangerous policy of the french colonizer ; that is why he wanted the young Algerians to stand up for their rights and set themselves free from the colonizer.

He joined the liberal trend at a very young age as a representative in UDMA, nationalist political party, under the leadership of Ferhat Abbas.

Later on he became a member in the office of the political party then a deputy of the mayor of the city hall of Tiaret in 1948.
