Abstract EN

We tried through this modest paper to highlight the legal and regulatory framework for Social Insurance in general and particularly social security in Algeria ،and it talked about the stages of social insurance since the colonial period to the present day in trying to reveal the most important achievements as a result of economic reforms which touched the insurance sector and social protection notably social Security ،also advantages and objectives of the conversion systems of social insurance in force in Algeria، as well as contributions and their importance in theconversion of social insurance، and we want at the same time to show some problems facing the social security systems in Algeria، which can be shared by most of the Arab countries
