The right of the victim to the assistance of a lawyer is now one of the major rights within the right of defense.

For the victim, because of the psychological and physical disorders that he endured due to the crime, may not know the legal texts that preserve his rights or those that could be used against him.

Due to the victim lack of experience and the complexity of the proceeding, he is obliged to be attended by a person of a legal culture in order to direct him and help him use his right to be awarded damages, after the most studies have focused on the study of the accused right to appoint a lawyer as a guarantee of the right to defense without taking into account the victim’s right.

While it was necessary to devote even more so this guarantee to the victim who weaker part in the criminal trial because of the damages he was subject to.
