أثر معدل النمو الاقتصادي على معدل الفقر في الوطن العربي : دراسة قياسية باستعمال نماذج البانل : 1970-2017

Abstract EN

The purpose of this study is testing the effect of economic growth on poverty rates by using data of 21 Arabic countries over the period 1970-2017, this study approved on Meng 2005 model by the addition of other variables as inequality index, inflation rate, investment index and the school enrollment rate, the aims at contributing to the literature by utilizing the recently developed Thail index instead of traditional Gini coefficient because of its advantages, the empirical results show that there is no effect from economic growth to poverty rates.
