Information technology is not limited to the classification, collection and dissemination of information, but rather a knowledge revolution based on technological means in organizing data and information.

The reality of the informational explosion (carriers and content), which is accompanied by multiple ways to access information and access to the rules of storage and the ability to circulate between space is one of the most prominent points of the employment of this in the strategies of regional and international powers, and the main axis of military and security beliefs that enabled them to excel, grow and dominanate Its ability to adapt to the complexity of information technology is a major threat to its security strategies, it is a double-edged sword, contributed to the change of military doctrines and theories of national security of their countries, at the same time most of the Arab countries still lack the knowledge of how to use this important element in its strategies in order to secure regional supremacy, so using information as a tool of strength in Arab strategies has become merely an illusion.

The practical application did not find any clear role on the ground, which contributed to the weakness of Arab strategies.

So instead of information becoming a factor of strength, it increased the challenges facing the Arab national security, so it has become one of the if not the most important challenge facing Arab national security.
