Abstract EN

This article aims to showcase Algeria’s experience in reforming justice sector from 1999 to 2017.During that period; justice sector has witnessed shortcomings in the performance of public service.

The judicial means, too, have become unable to achieve desired objectives; and signs of administrative corruption started to appear.

and since justice is the cornerstone of each state of law, the need for reform emerged through addressing all deficiencies and shortcomings thereof, whether it was related to human factors, systems, laws, procedures or working methods.

therefore ,we will demonstrate the impact of modernizing procedures and working methods on the judicial system through the clarification of means, methods, and mechanism used as well as their capacity to improve public service.

the main result of the study confirms that effects of that reform were clear.
