The objective of this study is to identify the reality of renewable energy programs and the challenges they face in Algeria.

The issue of renewable energies has gained great importance at the present time especially with the deterioration of oil prices because they are friendly energies characterized by a relative decrease in prices because they are environmentally friendly.

A number of results have been reached.

The most important of which is that the implementation of the national program for the development of renewable energy and energy efficiency will achieve development in the field of photovoltaic solar energy and expand the scope of its uses, energy and employment.
