Abstract EN

This article aims to shed light on some of the legal and practical aspects of the duty of reservation imposed on the public official in Algerian law in the light of the various legislative developments in this field, based on a comparative approach between functions subject to public law and those subject to special legislative provisions.

In order to resolve this issue and to determine whether or not a public official is actually subject to this principle, this article examines all the provisions of the General Civil Service Regulations, as well as the context of certain functions subject to a legal system of its own.
