As a concept and practice, Magic is still a major question especially in the pagan African societies whose life revolves around these magical practices and religious beliefs in which the magician has all control of everything related to the individual and community’s lives.

This gives him a legitimate power that elevates him to higher levels as a king or priest.

Thus, his authority does not stop at the limits of magical practices and control of the human beings’ minds; but rather, it extends to practicing religious and political authority, and making decisions that determine the fate of the country as well as the people.
