Abstract EN

The aims of study is to Learn the interactive patterns of Egyptian youth on smart phones , Try to identify the importance, patterns and areas of exposure to mobile technology , Know the nature of social contexts - activity, location and timing - to use smart phones , Identify the order and preferences of users of modern communication methods and their dependence on smart phones in daily life .

The study also used the Media Richness Theory .

This study is based on a qualitative .

The study society is composed of young people who use smart phones between 18 and 35 years of age from different stages (educational, economic, social and cultural) .

The study also relied on a sample of (15) Egyptian young people who use smart phones to record their diaries for (7) days .

The main findings of the study is there is a large trend towards the intensity of the number of hours per day for the use of the smart phone, And there is a diversity in periods of mobile phone use between (noon, evening, evening) equally, And that the friends of study and work are the most categories to communicate with them through communications via smart phone most days of the week, And Facebook is considered one of the most popular social networking sites on a weekday basis, And the most popular applications used by respondents are (Facebook messenger , what 's app) .
