Abstract EN

The current research problem is the study of some folk knowledge in agriculture, namely knowledge of land cultivation, agricultural work stages, and agricultural seasons.

In an attempt to identify the functional contribution of such knowledge at the level of the community and society as a whole, and to identify the knowledge that has been characterized by stability or change across generations with attention to the ecological approach and the impact of the environment in the formation of that knowledge.

One of the most important findings of the researcher is that the knowledge of individuals about agriculture has been inherited from the parents is transmitted from generation to generation, and the environment has a role in the acquisition of individuals to the culture of their community and the transition between generations.

This knowledge also has the function of satisfying the different human needs, which has helped to preserve the human species, and the potential functions of controlling the environment and preserving its resources, and that folk knowledge, like the other subjects of science, is influenced by and affects the general layout of the society.

Other subsetit is clear to us that technology plays an important role in changing grassroots knowledge in the study society, providing us with modern agricultural tools.

The generational dimension also plays a role in the persistence of some folk knowledge as acquired by members of the research community.

Each generation adds new things to its knowledge.

This makes folk knowledge change over generations.
