The study aimed to study the issues of the modern Iraqi novel, published in the period from 1990 to 2011, through the critical analysis of Iraqi novels issued at that time, which included the issues: the issue of the siege and the US invasion, the issue of violence, the issue of civilizational conflict, Iraqi society in general, and the Iraqi personality in particular, and reflected these issues in several novels, namely: Ghayb, Haleb El Marenz, kyammt Baghdad, Maganeen Boka, Amwat Baghdad, El Ghobar El Americi, Km Badat El Samma Kareba.
