The development of the concept of migration and the development of approaches to dealing with it, from socio-economic phenomenon mainly to a security phenomenon, which has special security approaches and transnational policies to control them, not from Socio-economic point of view, but rather to security perceptions by adopting soft security and even steel approaches.

This paper deals with the evolution of the concept of migration (legal and illegal) through cross-disciplinary knowledge approaches, with emphasis on the most important theories explaining migration, especially illegal ones, to the security of the phenomenon.
