Abstract EN

Both faithfulness and preciseness are increasingly needed in translating specialized texts in the political sciences field, for the political language characterized as precise and relevant to a specialized terminology, accordingly, such terms cannot be altered at both form and content levels, particularly if we take into account the fact that they are widely widespread among researchers, who are showing aversion to any misinterpretation while embarking on translating political texts from and into English.

The scientific duty requires that the translation be efficient; so as to perform it suitably as ensured by dictionaries and lexical context for the terms needing objective and faithful transfer conditions in translating the text.

They are amount to essential criteria that measure up the suitability of a translated text, whose meanings sound compatible with those of the source text, which would oblige the researcher, in this domain, to focus on the main boundaries of the political translation process; as included in the lexical authority “dictionaries”, and the contextual constraints “external conditions of the text.
