This may be due to a number of reasons, some of which are related to women in their own right, others are related to the cultural, religious and social backgrounds.

In this situation, many countries, including Algeria, The guarantees are intended to promote the participation of women in the political field, in line with the international charters that have been devoted to the promotion of women's rights in the political sphere.

These guarantees range from legal guarantees and institutional guarantees to women's empowerment in the management of public affairs and the formulation of political decisions.
