The political and administrative functions were not limited to masters but extended to slaves, where the political and administrative functions of the slaves in Hijaz varied, especially during the Mamluk period.

Whether they are jobs Administrative Or war.

First: Administrative functions: 1.

The position of Deputy Makkah Especially in the absence of Sharif Hijaz, whether for travel or otherwise.

So it requires Deputy Safeguarding the security of Mecca from any aggression during the absence of Sharif.
