Any translation is subject to mental processing.

In a literary text, this processing is very problematic.

Words and expressions that vehicle such transfer do not (re)produce the source faithfully.

The received image could be perceived and conceived differently because of language suggestiveness.

Undoubtedly, Cognitive Process of thinking is helpful in understanding and actualizing thoughts into words and expressions.

But how could it be with metaphor? Is it transferrable? Are we able to reproduce and transfer the same image from the source to the target? Metaphor is shaped and mapped within the culture that produces it, but differences in culture become the clue of the problem.

The way to conceptualize and perceive it is dialogically related to the degree of differences and similarities of the SLT (Source Language Text) and TLT (Target Language Text).

Dans un texte littéraire, le transfert d‘un sens d‘une langue à une autre est très problématique.

Les mots/expressions qui véhiculent un tel transfert ne (re)produisent pas fidèlement le texte.

L‘image reçue pourrait être perçue et conçue différemment en raison de la suggestivité de la langue.

Il ne fait aucun doute que le processus cognitif de la pensée est utile pour comprendre et actualiser les pensées en mots et en expressions.

Mais comment pourrait-il être avec la métaphore ? Est-elle transférable ? Pouvons-nous reproduire et transférer la même image de la source à la cible ? La métaphore est façonnée dans la culture qui la produit.

Mais les différences de culture deviennent la clé du problème.

La façon de la conceptualiser et de la percevoir est liée de manière dialogique au degré de différences et de similitudes du TS (Texte Source) et du TC (Texte Cible).
