Abstract EN

The objective of the current research is to investigate the effectiveness of the Herbert Thelen model in understanding the Ethical Issues of the first stag students in Biology.

The researcher used experimental design with partial adjustment in two experimental and control equal groups, The research community included all the students of the first grade intermediate in middle and high school day schools belonging to the Directorate of Education of Qadisiyah Governorate for the academic year (2017-2018), The random selection of the research community was chosen as a school (medium mixed track), which is a school belonging to the Department of Education Qadisiyah as a sample of the research, and in the same way was chosen two divisions of the first class, group (A) (35) students The experimental group and the group ( B) (33) students represented the control group, As for the research tool, the researcher adopted a test to measure the understanding of the bioethical issues prepared by( Al-Kahlout 2008).

For this purpose, he finished his final form o (30) multiple-choice clauses, which included several issues (gene therapy, Human organs, alternative uterus, abortion).

When processing the data statistically, the results showed that the students of the experimental group who studied according to the Herbert( Thelen mode) were superior to the students of the control group who studied in the usual way in the test of understanding the ethical issues.
