Since the establishment of the modern state, this role has been in a state of expansion and expansion, which was evident in the attempted coup of July 15 2016 , which came in reaction to the actions of the ruling party in order to distance it from political life, This study focused on the attempted coup d'état of July 15, 2016 and the reasons for its failure and subsequent government measures to limit its role.
It concluded that the hegemony exercised by the ruling party in addition to popular will is one of the main reasons for the failure of this attempt.
