Abstract EN

Technology today is pervading all fields, especially in the field of financial transactions, that’s why it is necessary for all sciences, particularly the sciences of Shari’a and law, to look into the new things that are related to technology, such as Bitcoin.

This study entitled: ‘Purchasing with Bitcoin according to the Issuer from the Perspective of Islamic Law and the UAE Civil Transaction Law’.

The researcher presented the jurisprudential and the legal opinion that are related to issue of Purchasing with Bitcoin according to the issuer.

The study comprises two sections, the first one talked about the meaning of Bitcoin, and how to get it… etc.

The second section drew on the jurisprudential and the legal opinion that are related to issue of Purchasing with Bitcoin according to the issuer.

The study adopted the comparative inductive method.

The conclusion included the most important results: (1) Islamic jurisprudence believes that it is not permissible to buy with Bitcoin, because the issuer is not legitimate; (2) The UAE Civil Transaction Law also states that it is not permissible to buy with Bitcoin, because the issuer is not legitimate.
