Management of cultural and linguistic diversity in Algeria Abstract: Cultural and linguistic pluralism is a characteristic of societies, with more than one culture and language within one community.

Moral instinct requires the existence of difference, plurality and diversity of divine wisdom.

The linguistic or cultural pluralism as a whole expresses the succession of civilizations and peoples and the mating of many varieties of linguistic and cultural communication, so that one becomes proud of belonging to a civilization or a people or a combination.

The countries of North Africa in general and Algeria in particular are characterized by this multiplicity linguistic and cultural diversity, blending and one people combined diversity in an integrated national unity.

It differs from other countries in dealing with and managing this multicultural and linguistic diversity.

There are those who see cultural diversity as a threat to the stability of the nation and its national unity.

To arrive at the fact that the Algerian identity was characterized by the integration of the three elements (religion, language, multiculturalism), thus constituting a cultural and linguistic plurality.

Which require the management of multicultural and linguistic policies targeted; including: Policies to protect the effective participation of different minorities, in addition to the activation of policies to enable the use of multiple languages, and finally compensatory policies on social and economic exclusion.
