Abstract EN

The rituals of anthropology are an essential element of religious life.

Their study is an important sector of the anthropology of religions, but also of anthropology and human sciences.

Rituals have been treated from the point of view of origins (evolutionary) and their contribution to psychological and social life (functional) and from the angle of the symbols and symbols that embody or tolerate them (structural and cultural).

Thus, ritual is a favorite subject of the anthropology of religions.

This seems to be a distinctive feature of traditional and ritual societies (and religious authorization) of non-ritual societies or in which rituals move away from the social life of secular societies.
