Tourism promotion is one of the most important components of the tourism system, it represents the link between the tourist product and the consumer (tourist).

There are many forms and channels of tourism promotion , tourist agencies are one of these channels that play an important role in promoting tourism destinations.

Through the above, we tried through our research paper to find the role played by the local tourism agencies in promoting Tlemcen as tourism destination ; as that latter is a rich wilaya with a varied tourist stock that combines all kinds of tourism (the beach - natural - therma and cultural).

This relationship was studied through research on the content of the programs of tourist agencies in the wilaya of Tlemcen, and the search for the size of those directed to the local tourism.

At the conclusion of our research, we concluded that the tourism agencies in the wilaya of Tlemcen do not play an active role in promoting Tlemcen tourist destination, just are working on the whole export of tourists to various international destinations.
