We elaborate in this paper to the prudential rules of the insurance sector solvency 2, and the foundations and principles that are based on it, as well as the ways and methods used to calculate the technical requirements for the insurance company and how to assess and manage risks, in addition to the opportunities, challenges and prospects for the application of solvency 2 directive on insurance companies, and conclude the subject of a series of results in the light of the study.
