The purpose of this research paper is to investigate the justifications offered by the proponents of the just war.

This latter is a new concept based on the goal of fighting against the forces of pure evil.

Since ancient times, thinkers have tried to understand the phenomenon of war, they also think about the means and conditions to avoid it by glorifying the values of tolerance and dialogue between individuals and societies.

This article begins by the attempt to define the just war, also it refers to the controversy between its supporters and its opponents, taking into consideration the intense interest to answer the central problematic that the title refers to: Is it possible to talk about a just war?.
