Abstract EN

Of the study in Algeria, the French agricultural intellect, in the early years, be based on the tropical agriculture theoretically and practically, in order to turn the settlement into a tropical farm that keep up with the economical growth in France.

A policy was created which be based on moving on the cultivation of tropical crops such as tobacco, cotton, cocoa , and other tropical products; accompanied by systematic approaches to create small properties and establish new villages, settlements and reconstruct, not only with the new colonists but with the European capitalists thoughts that get along with the economical development taking place in the motherland and this marked the new beginning of a new agricultural era in Algeria.
