the democratic transition has been considered as one of main features of political development in world to regimes more eighteen and one half ninetheen of past century, it witnessed increase in the transition cases from authoritarian regimes with different types to more democratic regimes through relying on election mechanism as tool for guarantee democratic transition and peaceful alternance of power and legitimize political system.

This study will focus on electoral process in pushing democratic transition and factors that make elections as independent variable for democratic transition or means of reproduction of the existing system.
