The aim of this study was to reveal the mental health of the university student, especially since his first years in the university, to reach the following questions: What is the level of mental health of university students? Are there differences in the mental health of university students who are mothers of working and non-working mothers? Are there differences in the mental health of university students who are working mothers of the sex worker? To achieve the overall objectives of this study, we conducted a field study on a sample of the students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Medea in a random way, using a measuring tool built by researcher Afra Khalil Ibrahim.

The descriptive approach was used to describe the phenomenon studied.

In the end, we found moderate (moderate) mental health in most university students, and there were differences in mental health among the children of working and nonworking mothers.

The children of mothers were not working, and there were also no differences in mental health among students of working mothers Attributable to gender variable.
