The social history appeared in the School of the Annals in 1929 as a result of the interaction of history with the various human and social sciences, particularly sociology and anthropology, in order to examine many of the problems neglected by the political and diplomatic history that limited the historical study of individuals and young people to the study of society as a whole.

Based on traditions, social structures and religious issues, drawing on her theories and research, she takes a new approach that reverses what is common in history and offers a new vision for to reach a complete story.
