Abstract EN

Total quality management is considered to be one of the most modern methods of management adopted in various sectors, which aims at achieving the goals efficiently and effectively.

This has raised the interest of researchers and motivated them to search for their applicability in the public services sector.

No one denies the urgency of the resort of the public health sector in Algeria to apply the principles and the tenets of the total quality management in order to promote public health to the level desired by the citizen.

Therefore, this study is intended to highlight the basic concepts linked to the overall quality, while addressing the obstacles, requirement and stages of application in the public health sector.
