Study Summary: In this study, I try to shed light on aspects of the French colonial policy in Maghreb, which relate to the settlement policy in Tunisia and Morocco, considering that the settlement policy has been the cornerstone of the French tightening their grip on the region, and this in the sense that the process will contribute to give the occupation its meaningful and practical application In fact, colonialism that lacks settlement is a figurehead, and thus the acquisition of Moroccan territory for Europeans served as an end to the policy of colonialism that took the form of protection in the tow countries.
