Foreign direct investment is an alternative way of financing the economy.

It would make a movement of capital and transfer of technological and administrative knowledge on the one hand and an opportunity to employ labor on the other hand.

However, this kind of investment, to be profitable, requires an attractive environment based on political, economic and administrative factors…etc.

Algeria made lot of efforts to improve its investment environment in order to attract as much of its flows as possible, especially in the case of the large decline in oil revenues, but this was not at the required level, because of the fierce competition between the various developed and developing countries.
