The complexity of the situation of the education in Algeria after independence has imposed challenges to the development and policy of educational reforms according to the ideological choice and development strategy as free education, democracy and Arabization, Algerianization and also provides cadres and skilled manpower.

But the political and development model chosen by Algeria has produced a state capitalism that has led to the emergence of a social class that has dominated, and most of them are francophone, which has obstructed arrabisation But the educational reform did not achieve desired results, as there was a large gap between what is reported and the practical reality.

Education still knows bilingualism is particularly at the level of higher education, where most technical and medical disciplines are taught in French.

This situation was clearly reflected in the labor market, which could not accommodate the educated workforce in addition to the uneducated, which showed the unemployment of educated because of the lack of coordination between what the Educational institutions produce and development projects, projects that depend on the price of oil that dropped in the eighties that led Algeria into a spiral of complex problems at all levels
