Abstract EN

This paper aims to explain «the ruling of feeding premature neonates with human milk enhanced with protein and nutrients» since breastfeeding is one of the extremely important topics in Islamic law; it is the source of child’s life and a criterion for establishing kinship relationship as far as marriage is concerned, along the related fiqhi rulings.

I have been entrusted to conduct this paper by the academic committee of the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars.

I addressed the general rulings of breastfeeding related to the question in question.

When establishing the fiqhi basis of the issue, I only focused on the related themes, exploring the different manufacturing processes of that type of milk and the need of premature neonates to feed on human milk.

Accordingly, I tried to apply the fiqhi rulings on this important issue following objective-based and shari’ ahperspective to find the correct Sharia ruling for the question under investigation.
