This paper deals with the issue of cultural expressions as a social reality.

We approached this subject by examining the phenomena of rap and graphitia as modern cultural practices with their social and symbolic characteristics and connotations This approach is characterized as theoretical and documentary, in which we tried to present the sociological context that produced rap and graphitia.

On the other hand, some of the literature that studied this subject was presented from different angles.
