The novelist art is one of the most literary arts, an expression of reality and an embodiment of human life, with all the cultural, historical, social, psychological and cultural glories and complexities that arise from human conflict with itself and with its new reality on the other.

The study attempts to shed light on the duality of life in the contemporary Algerian novel and reveals some of the repercussions of this duet in the novel "A Wonderful Day of Death" by the Algerian novelist Samir Qusimi.
