Abstract EN

This research work aims at clarifying the position of Sheikh.

Al-lbrahimi on polemic theology ('ilmAlkalam) and at defining the guidelines of his position.

It includes a definition of 'ilmAlkalam, and a biographical note on Sheikh.

Mohammed Al- Bashir Al-Ibrahimi Al-Jaza'iry (13061385- H).

The research clarifies the position of Sheikh.AI- Ibrahimi on 'ilmAlkalam in rejecting the logicians) heresy of interpretation, and in his sadness for the effort they have wasted in those argumentations.

Had this effort been well exerted in the right way, it would have resulted in goodness for Islam and Muslims.

It also shows the position of Sheikh.

Al Ibrahimi on teaching Creed in the right way, and that the current approach is useless, its harm being more than its benefit.

He concludes that the best way is the approach of the salaf, which is based on The Holy Quran, the Sunnah and agrees with natural percepts.

The Sheikh believes that 'llm Alkalam had a negative influence and led to dividing Muslims due to its heritage of differences, dispersion and deviation from the way of good predecessors.
