Abstract EN

The study aims at preparing a proposed strategy to transform the Al-Aqsa University into entrepreneurial university.

The study used the questionnaire as a tool to measure the availability degree of entrepreneurial characteristics of the university and the obstacles it faces.

The questionnaire was applied to a sample of (102) lecturers.

The results showed that the overall estimate of entrepreneurial characteristics is weak.

Concerning the availability degree of dimensions are as follows : innovativeness and proactiveness is mid., competitiveness and risk taking is weak, and autonomy is very weak.

Besides, this, the degree of obstacles is great.

Based on a matrix of strategic analysis, the proposed strategy has been built and controlled by a focus group which includes specialized experts in education.

Then a strategy was formulated in its final form.

It is worth mentioning that the Aims focused on entrepreneurship in learning and teaching, scientific research and community service.
