Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the empowerment administrative and its effect on the academic process at Imam Mohammed Bin Saud Islamic University (IMBSIU), Riyadh.

To achieve this goal a sample was chosen to in clues the deans of colleges, heads of departments, the vice-chairmen and the vice-chairmen at the female sections.

The total number of participants was 82 during the academic year 1434-1435 H.

After sending the surveys, 65 of them were returned, making 80% of the original sample of study.

To collect data a survey of 57 points, designed by the researcher.

There were two axes of focus, one for measuring the empowerment administrative (Delegation of authority, self-motivation, participation, training and development, creative behavior, and the academic dimension).

The other axis was designed to measure the barriers facing the application of empowerment administrative by academic leaders.

The researcher used the Descriptive analytical method in this study.
