Abstract EN

The research aims to reveal the topics on (Face Book) which students in the secondary stage deal with, and their cultural effects.

This research depended on the descriptive analytical approach by using the questionnaire to collect data .

The questionnaire contained (28 ) items distributed in two domains.

They are about topics on (Face Book)which between students in the secondary stage ( 7) items, and their cultural effects( 12) items.

The questionnaire was given to randomly/punchy sample of ( 280) students in the secondary stage in seven schools of the year (2013-2014) at Damascus City.

There are ( 146) males of them and (134) females.

So that ( 175) of them from the scientific specialization, and( 105) from the literary specialization .

The results shows that : 1- there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students' degrees about the cultural effects of using ( Face Book ) according to the gender variable( males and females ).

2- there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of students' degrees about the cultural effects of using ( Face Book ) according to the specialization (scientific and literary ) variables.

The difference is in favour of the scientific specialization
